Over low heat melt:

1 pound butter

12 ounces of baking chocolate
Add, stirring often:

3 pounds sugar

½ t. salt
Slowly add:
- 3 cups evaporated milk
Simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Do not boil.
Fudge can be stored up to 1 month in refrigerator.
